# AI fields

> Fields that fill themselves in. Describe what to track, Octolane extracts it from conversations.

The killer feature.

Define an AI field in plain English: "Decision maker title", "Budget mentioned", "Competitor named", "Next step", "Blocker". Octolane reads every email, meeting, and note on the record and keeps the value current.
